Why use Microsuction?
Microsuction is considered the gold standard for earwax removal. What to expect during your appointment
Your appointment will begin with a visual examination of your ears using a microscope or video otoscope. If wax is present and removal is recommended, our Audiologist will gently suction the wax out using a fine, sterile probe connected to a low-pressure suction device. You may hear a slight whooshing sound during the process, but it is generally comfortable and painless. After the procedure, your clinician will check the ear canal again to ensure it is clear and healthy.
